A number of the projects we’ve undertaken in the St. Johns Wood area have presented unique challenges for us to overcome, and this project is no exception, thanks to the kitchens unique shape. When designing the layout you see represented in the renders above, we had to take into consideration the direction of light, in addition to the angles at which it shines onto the worktops and cabinets. To partially diffuse this, laminate in Merino colour was used alongside Platinum carcass.

Rather than traditional handleless options, the customer instead opted for recessed handles, giving the modern effect you see. To finish the look, Siemens iQ range appliances were included in black and stainless steel. The result is a starkly bold kitchen, it’s characteristic shape working hand-in-hand with the styling to create an environment that feels almost post-modern, it’s so cutting edge.
